Update on fallen tree

The tree that fell down at the Cundall-end of the village was cleared very promptly with thanks to local residents. Many, many thanks to all of those involved. I'm sure all residents are appreciative.

The staff at Crab Manor will be clearing the footpath and have arranged an inspection of the trees that border the road by a tree expert next Tuesday morning (12th). They will provide the Parish Council with a report afterwards.

Cllr. Gallon (Chair) of the Parish Council has lodged the incident with Highways at NY Council and their engineer will visit the site in the next three working days to authorise the clearing away of the debris. They will also do a full inspection of the trees which they have responsibility for and report back to us.
